New to CS and to the Galatea Domus

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi,

After a few weeks of research and 7 years of automatic coffee machine ownership i decided that substandard coffee at home was no longer a option.

Roger at Supreme Roasters was brilliant. Good to see that there are people still around that believe customer service if the key to success. If you are in Brisbane or the GC area I would recommend visiting him, it is great to see the passion.

Not hooked up yet going to wait for Roger to come round on Saturday with my grinder and set it up for me and give me a few pointers. I know the coffee from the machine is good because i had 6 coffees at Rogres showroom this arvo so I am still wired.

Anyway just wanted to give Roger a plug because he made the experience of parting with a lot of money enjoyable :)

Roger has been a busy boy selling the Bezzera Galatea
Welcome to the Bezzera Club PATO

I was instantly attracted to my Galatea and have not regretted my purchase

Many happy coffees ahead for family & friends

Welcome PATO - great buy and welcome to the CS world...I bet youve started counting down the hours until youve got a full kit and can get stuck in!

What sort of grinder did you pair it with?

Excellent work...next stop, roasting your own coffee beans, or just buy them from Roger and never, never resort to supermarket beans!

    Hi Jason

Thanks for the great plug! Was a great experience having you out here drinking our ristrettos... especially on such beautiful machines! I cant think of a better way to spend the day? I think we will have to repeat again tommorow!

Looking forward to seeing you tommorow with K3 Elite in tow.

After using the crappy plastic tamper that came with the machine for a week I am now the ownder of a pullman barista tamper.

It is amazing how much better the coffe tastes :)

I dont know why they bother putting plastic tampers with new machines, probably better to give them a certain discount on a decent tamper.

It has to be a coffee manufacturers inside joke on drinkers worldwide. :)

Roger is surprisingly close to home for me and with all this great feedback Im certainly looking forward to heading in to grab some fresh coffee (and admire the shiny gear on his benchtops)
