My Giotto Setup - 3 Months on

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Well this is a belated thread, i never got around to taking pics of the new setup until i finished refurbing the $60 Buffet from Lifeline.

Well here she is, with her mate "Best", and the re-commissioned cabinet with funky new handles and a few coats of Oak stain and a satin finish.

Ive been over the moon with the Giotto PP, it makes consistently great coffee, its forgiving, i love it, i wont harp on as youve all heard it before.

Thanks again to Serge at Go Barista for giving me an AMAZING deal on the package!

    Here are the pics

ps, note the blue inline water line with tap (normally hidden) that i use to fill the reservoir, i just pull the line up ( its held at the back of the machine with a loose clip), place it through the hole on the cover plate and turn on the tap, there is an inline scale filter under the cabinet.

    cheers//

Looks good! Great job with the buffet too.

Do you have a mains water connection nearby to the inline scale filter?

the water comes from the laundry about 10 m of line to get there! With a few quick connect elbows and a T join that shoots off to the fridge water too. Works well

thanks for the compliment on the buffet, very happy how it turned out.....all for under $100!

Just out of curiosity... I have a GPP as well but my front badge looks a bit different to yours (mine has less black ink on it)...

I seem to remember reading that the newer badges were "etched" or something but didnt know whether mine was one of them.

Is there any difference in the machines innards, or is it just the [cosmetic] badge?
