AAAAAGGGGGHHHHH My Bezera (BZ70S) wont fire up. Life is over.

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    HELP HELP HELP

Just went to turn on the coffee machine, draws water but wont heat up or show any pressure on the gauge. :-/

Used it yesterday no problems at all, backflushed it all as normal.

    Is life over ? :(

Any suggestions from some of you gurus out there ?

Does this mean I can justify ordering my Speedster ? ;D

    Thanks all

I dont know your machine, but in general if you have a multimeter id check the element and the pressurestat first.

Just order the Speedster. Dont check anything--you might find a cheap cure. ;D

    Turn on machine
Open the steam nozzle (and leave open) as it may be an air lock
Leave on until you hear a hissing sound [up to 30 seconds] then close the steam off

If that does not fix it it will be one of 2 things
    1] Pressure switch
    2] Heating element

Its not impossible that you have tripped the thermal cutout on the boiler :-?

More likely than not though, an element. Its possible/probable that you may find it not covered by warranty though as most manufacturer warranties exclude elements.

    Good luck

Bezzera coffee machine have the pretty look but their coffee shot is to quick. under 20 seconds. My advice is "Change it as soon as you can"

Suggest USER rather than Machine.. Try fresh beans and the right Grind and tamp..

Had a similiar problem recently with my Isomac Tea - turned out to be the electronic control box and I had to replace it.

Sorry ciatuo but I disagree completely...

If your experience with Bezzera is too fast in the shot department, you have one or more of the following issues:
    • underdose
    • incorrect grind
    • poor technique- incorrect grind and/or tamp. Adjust the nut on the group handle...
    • stale coffee
    • inadequate grinder
