    Expobar minore power switch

Is the power switch on the Minore a standard switch that can be bought at Jaycar?
Or do I have to order a specific Expobar switch?

I would have thought so. That type of switch is very common in coffee equipment...

    Re: Expobar minore power switch

    Fulcrum,

I bought a couple of replacements (in case I need to do it again!) from a stereo components store. They were around $3.50 each.

I went for red with light and no printing, but they had ones with printing, green ones (and others I think). I was just so relieved to find it (as I had no machine until the switch was fixed) that I didnt look at the entire range of options.

I started at Middys, they took the old switch, went out the back for a bit, came back and told me they had nearly every other type of rocker switch, but not that one. He sent me to another electrical parts wholesaler who also had none, but sent me to the store that did.

The difference with my replacement is that it has 2 extra terminals. Not a big deal as it still works fine, but you need to figure out which ones not to use. Took me a couple of minutes to get it right (as long as you remember to put the water tank back on the switch before powering up again. Duh!

Of course, you could also order one from Expobar Im sure.

    Brett.

Renzo is ordering me one from Expobar.

As youve noticed Brett it seems otherwise finding one to fit can be tricky.

The Dick Smith Electronics site usually list the dimensions of their switches.
You could have a look there.

    Hi all,

Yes, you can buy the switch in Jaycar or Turk Electrical, however I found this swicths to be a bit small. I have order some form Expobar Australia, so if anyone need one PM I will have to quote.

    Theodore your switch is here.

    Regards

    Renzo
