Yippee - Proud Mummy of New Babies!

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Well, David & Goliath turned up today, so I thought Id share some photos of them straight out of the box.

No photos of pours yet because Im still fine tuning the grind (after I put in an emergency phone call to Chris on instructions on how to use the Maver!) Will try and get some photos tomorrow taken with Chris from Talk Coffees Urban Blend which was kindly supplied with the machinery.

Wow, theyre great! A huge thank you Chris for all the effort, angst and patience (and probably a great deal of swearing!) he putting into getting David to me. :-*

Pic 2 - David by himself...he doesnt look anywhere near as shiny as he does in the flesh: youd never know hes pre-loved!

Thanks KK - no intention of ever upgrading again, hopefully...well, not within the next couple of years, anyway (apart from that, I think Ive hit the upper limit on Petes looking the other way while my wife spends every last cent she has on a glorified coffee maker threshold!) So my pair are definitely married for life! ;)

Den - I had a bag of the Urban Blend come with the Instant Auction and loved it, then received a bag of your blend and - between the two - couldnt pick which one I thought was lovelier... Yep, when I phoned Chris to get instructions, he breathed a very audible sigh of relief that theyd turned up and no mishaps occurred with freighting!

Congratulations Di and Yippee indeed :D ;D ....

Thats a great combo and should serve you reliably with great coffee, for a long, long time. Look forward to seeing some of those "pour" pics.... 8-)
