    Vibiemme Domobar Junior (Anything better?)

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
So i am new here and looking at getting a Vibiemme Domobar Junior!

I have a Gaggia classic in for repairs at the moment but think its time to upgrade. Just been made redundant so need some more happiness and a coffee machine!!

So at the $2k mark is there anything bad about this unit?

Lots of people have different preferences. I have a VZM Super and I am sure the Junior is just as fantastic. Issues, tank size maybe and having to lift lid to fill but coffee wise light years ahead of where you are now. Test a Junior at one of the sponsors. I have found JetBlack in Sydney great to deal with and if you are in Melb then go to Talk Coffee. Cheers and enjoy the search, choosing your new upgrade is part of the fun so take your time :D

I purchased the VBM Domobar Jnr in Jan from Di Bartoli at Bondi.* For my purposes (normally 3-5 cups a day, perhaps up to 8 in a row when entertaining), it has been fantastic. Huge step up from my old Saeco Via Venezia and I dont have any regrets.

Im used to filling tanks so that is OK for me, although it does need filling pretty regularly. But as above, talk to a site sponsor. And if you can get some training with the purchase then it is well worth it as they can talk you through the proper technique for these machines.

In that case also take a look at the Diadema Junior Plus.Do a side by side comparison.

Choose the one you like best.

Well done A, certainly capable of a very nice extraction. Enjoy the journey :)

Well after a couple of attempts i have the coffee right!

The milk well hmmm, just got it! Took the advise on having the wand vertical in the center of the jug. Also used the water and some dishwash liquid trial runs to save on the milk!
