    American Giotto

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight

Hi, ive seen a Used Giotto Premium over the net for sale but its in the U.S. They are willing to ship it.
Can i run it permanently on an power socket adapter? Do the Aussie ones even run a standard power socket?
Its very cheap even with shipping - i could potentially pick it up for the cost of a new Slivia.
Trying to find out what year it is.

Hi Phatboy....In a sentence, dont waste your time or your money. The 110V machine is a dramatically different beast to the Aussie 240V stuff. Most 110V machines are 240V boxes of compromises- to allow them to run 110V....

Youd be better off with a Silvia....

Before giving up on it you might want to verify that it is indeed a 120v unit and not a 240v one. 240v is available in every household here and quite a few products are sold here that use it. :)
