Giotto Premium - 2.5 years old, approx price ?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Could anyone give me the approximate going rate for a 2 1/2 year old Giotto Premium in apparently good condition ?

How often would one expect the seals to be replaced in such a machine? Apparently It has been serviced twice in this time with seals replaced both times. For a machine that was in a domestic environment and getting relatively low use is this normal?

    Thanks in advance,

    Ben

    Hi there
I have had my machine just over 1.5 years and have only ever changed the shower screen and surrounding gasket.
Not sure what seals you are refering to?

    Hi Ben,

If its a Giotto premium and its in good external nick, Id say circa $1.5k...At $2k, its not worth it...

    Happy shopping!

I suppose by "seals" the seller means gaskets. How many gaskets are their in such a machine ?

Id think only group seals (gaskets) have been replaced. There is not much to go wrong...

i have had mine for almost 4 years and the only things replaced on it have been
the shower screen and gasket around it. They are cheap enough to replace.
The gasket would need to be replaced more often then the shower screen.

The only other thing i had replaced in mine was the pump which also isnt too expensive.

Not much to go wrong with these machines.

If its been well looked after and the price is right, grab it as they dont come up too often second hand.
