For sale is my La Pavoni Europiccola purchased from Jetblack Espresso middle of last year. It includes an extensive list of mods and accessories included in the price.
Reason for selling is that I have just purchased a pump machine from another member here and will no longer be using the LaPav. Has been used twice daily for the past year, with group and piston seals changed at the start of the year. Pressure stat has been dialed back so the group idles around 85-90c according to the temp strip which is where I personally have found the best results.
Makes a ripper coffee for those willing to master the machine.
Naked espresso pressure profiling kit (with stock components)
Boiler pressure guage and adapter
OE 1 hole steam tip (with stock 3 hole)
OE dosing funnel
IMS double basket (with stock single and double baskets)
Double spouted portafilter
Group temp strip
51mm RB tamp
Asking price $800 would prefer local pickup
Haha thanks for this
You're welcome! I take it you are in NSW if you got it from JB?
A La Pavoni got me into espresso, abandoning all other coffees, back in the early 1980s. I fixed a machine for an architect on the Parliament House team after an intermediary who knew I "did stuff" arranged for me to check out a minor adjustment problem. My reward for services rendered was to keep it for two more weeks. Espresso City, we arrived. Before that we had enjoyed only coffees we had bought in Europe.
My apologies for clogging up your sale thread with an anecdote. timothyp. I would be tempted to pick it up myself except it would be rather hard to explain to said spouse why we need two machines. They are a lot of fun, and capable of making great coffee with satisfaction in the art. I hope it sells soon for you.
