FS: Breville BES900 Double Boiler [BNE]

Itís time to say goodbye to my Breville BES900 double boiler. This was my first introduction into good home coffee. Paired with a Compak K3T it provided sterling service for 3 years, 2-4 coffees a day. 3 years in and the upgradeitis bit hard, resulting in me getting a Profitec Pro 700. The BES900 was retired to the beach shack where it was used 1-2 weekends a month. It is only going now because I spotted a good deal on a second hand Hx machine.

The BES900 has been a hugely popular machine, with many great features. This one comes with everything it came with, including the original packaging. It was regularly serviced including a descale just before it went into semi retirement, since then it has had minimal use, drinking filtered water. It has a few small signs of wear, as you would expect in a 5 year old machine, but overall looks great, as the pictures should show.

Its time to give someone else the opportunity to start the great coffee journey. I paid $1500 for this back in the day and I am looking for $390. I havenít looked into shipping costs, pick up would be preferred.

I may be interested in this mate. Would you consider shipping it to Vic if so?

Would prefer not to if possible, it would be better for the buyer to see it up and running, rather than have to rely on AusPost not to trash it...
However if no one interested locally will look into it.

Not even sure where to start with shipping a big heavy box...

Might have a friend interested, will give them a call. I will of course handle the transaction as the member With that said, I agree first come first serve on the postage basis.

I have had more fragile things than this sent via courier, I suggest this instead of aus post for sure! Won't cost much more than $50 to send it to another metro area and I've not ever had anything lost even by the cheapest couriers (e-go for example).

    Price reduction!

Its been a week, many enquiries but no viewings or sale. I’d like to move it on, so I am going to offer a price drop to $295.

Would prefer pickup so that I don’t have to ship this large box. However, if someone wants it shipped, I would prefer it if they were able to organise this.

I am also going to offer a package deal with the Gaggia MDF grinder I have put up for sale today, see https://coffeesnobs.com.au/coffee-ha...tml#post640296. However if the grinder sells first, no package sorry.

    $295 BES900
    $130 Gaggia MDF grinder

    $400 for the package

What's the shot counter on the BES900? You can find it by turning off the machine, holding down the 4 small buttons then hitting power, then multiply by 10, as per https://coffeesnobs.com.au/brewing-e...t-counter.html
