    WTB: Vintage single group lever

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hello all

Apologies for reposting but my original listing appears to have disappeared. Looking for a vintage single group lever. Expanding my search field now to include unrestored machines. Depending on age/condition/rarity looking at $1000-$5000. I am currently in Melbourne (returning Friday morning) and have capacity to take a machine back with me. If you have something that may be of interest, please PM me. Obviously timing is a bit of an issue as ideally I would need to inspect tomorrow.

    Many thanks
    Mat

I think you will find there a couple for sale in the hardware section - take a peak.

I saw that the Lambro has been withdrawn from sale. I can't understand why you didn't jump at that one. It was even in your present vicinity.

Completely understandable reaction. It was undisputedly a beautiful machine and while I was sorely tempted, it wasn’t quite what I was looking for. As it so happens, I pursued a false lead on another machine yesterday. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Hi, I have an early Boema single lever machine which is complete, was working but has been partly disassembled (started a project which stalled - too many projects). I also have a Boema (same era) steam machine which I picked up as potentially useful source of parts. I am in Sydney and am happy near the bottom of your price range. If that is of interest, please PM me.

    Thanks
    Peter

    YES!
If not for a change of circumstances that lovely orange beast of a machine would still be sitting proudly on my bench top.

I'm thinking of getting rid of my early europiccola, complete with original rubber base (needs replacing), homemade naked portafilter and wooden handles from Francesco ceccarelli. I love it, but haven't used it in a few years now, so it's time to declutter. Sounds like you're looking for something more interesting though.
