Modified Rancilio Silvia with stainless drawers
I have an immaculate Rancilio Silvia for sale. Owned for about 3 years for a couple coffees per day.
We are selling the machine as I have taken the plunge on a Heat exchange Bezzera.
THIS MACHINE MAKES OUTSTANDING COFFEES and with it's short heat up time is perfect for the home user.
Meticulously cared for with regular back flushing.
Brand new group seal.
I've stripped the steam wand and replaced the o'rings and seal, high temp grease.
I have installed an auber PID with shot timer and pre infusion, this is valued at close to $200 without the install kit and before labour costs are included. As most are aware this upgrades the machine considerably holding temps in a tighter range and taking the machine from semi auto to automatic.
While I was working on the PID I decided to insulate the boiler with high temp silicone foam sheeting which has made a huge difference, the machine cycles less and the electrical components are now protected.
With the sale I will include several replacement o'rings and seals to keep you going for years.
Original portafilter and both double and single baskets.
The machine has no blemishes save for very light scuffs on the drip tray, it's in as new condition.
The stainless steel drawers are brand new not used and one drawer is a knock box for pucks. This is valued at $275 from the shop.
I am offering this machine for $700 and the drawers for $150.
Located Wollongong but could arrange to meet the right buyer in Sutherland

Do you have a size on the drawers? Or are they the genuine Rancillo double drawers like this - https://www.jetblackespresso.com.au/...o-drawer-base/ ? Just trying to get a handle on the size
I've packed them away in the box again.
I'll get back to you tomorrow.
The drawer measure 410x480x100 (DxWxH)
Each drawer measures 400x210x80.
Very well made and strong.
Thanks Sam, unfortunately a little bigger than the space I have available under an existing bench
This is nice. Did you just use a Dremel for embedding the PID in the case? Looks great. GLWS
I did, measuring it out was tricky so that it was level and square.
