I think fatboy was referring to a certain item in Bean Bay Brown that is quite related to Christmas (Item 248)

    Re: Treasure

Back from *2 weeks Xmas holidays in NZ.

Yes, I was referring to the CoE of course. Havent got to roast mine yet. Thats next - once we knock off the Yirg and MM I roasted up the day before I left and which is now restoring our faith in great coffee. * 8-)

Did manage one or two excellent cups in NZ though. In particular, a little place called Two Fish in Oportiki on the Bay of Plenty (where we stayed a few days) took first place - did a great job on a Wellington sourced Havana NZ roast - no sugar needed. And my first flet white at Bens in Auckland Central was excellent (they roast on site), but the second was a little sour (must have been too busy at the time for the machine to keep up - a potential downside at 10 am in a crowded cafe).

    Happy New Year!

    Re: Treasure

Nice one Slowdown, I used to order roasted beans off "Havana" before finding this site. Also know of Ben in Auckland doing a good job too.
    Enjoy your CoE !
