    El Salvador El Boqueron

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Stopped roast at start of SC.

This is an interesting (small) bean that is probably best as a SO for those that take it black. But I think it will work well as a base in a blend with some more acidic beans (PNG Waghi perhaps) as it seems a little more complex than your average Brazil - sweet, smooth, medium body, low acidity with hints of cocoa and nice spicy finish, keep this one on the buy list Andy!

Have just done my first roast of this bean and hit the jackpot first time. A great bean which tasted good from Day 1.

Roasted well into second crack (413 degrees Farenheit). Total time 20mins. first crack at around 14mins (386 degrees. Farenheit) - sorry havent changed measurements to celsius yet!!

Am just doing a 2nd roast today. Will see if I can repeat it.

First crack at 4 mins in a total time of 20 mins!

Wow, this is a long way from my average profile. My average would be first crack at 10-12 mins with second crack 5-6 mins after first crack using a corretto roaster. (Just realising, maybe its a typo, did you mean 14mins?)

What kind of roaster are you using?
