Mmmm! Ill second that. The coffee was excellent when I visited a few weekends back.
Im still enjoying it as I bought a selection of Jasons freshly roasted beans to try as a reality check on my home roasts. They have all been very good.
Try to go when the roaster is doing its thing as its all there on display in the room with you. Great atmosphere.
Id reckon a Friday would be a good bet but give Jason a ring to find out when the roaster will be on.

      Cheers,
      Alan

        Hi Andrew,

Unfortunately Caloundra is in general 5 years behind the rest of the Coast, which is about 5 years behind Brisbane in coffee quality.

Best you come up for a coffee, the quality of coffee gets noticeably better north of the Maroochy river.

I can confirm what others have said. I was visiting Caloundra a few months ago. Yandina is only about half hour north from Caloundra on the Bruce Highway.

I purchased coffee from Jason then and have since bought more online delivered to my home in Albury.

Pioneer has an outlet coffee shop at the Sunshine Coast airport [or did have then] but you have to pay $4 for airport parking just to go to the shop so that makes the cost of the coffee out of the question. Go to the roastery at Yandina for the best coffee experience north of Brisbane.

There is a very reasonable coffee shop in the Caloundra main street [Bulcock St] called "Gourmet and more". It is one of the few shops I have encountered where they will grind fresh coffee for each cup. And they have a variety of coffees available and will grind whichever you choose. I dont know if they have Jasons coffee.

Add another vote for his coffee roasting. The Aussie MTE I got a while back was great in a Syphon or Plunger

Thats a bummer I might have to bring silvia along.

Im hopeing to get up there as I need a new cup, my wife smashed the one I got last time. Its my wifes bday so ill be suggesting lunch a Spirit House and a coffe for the trip back.

Im cursed with kids that hate the car and scream there little ar$es off and anything over half an hour gets a bit tiring. My eldest got over it at 12 months so Ive got 2 months left (hopefully) with the youngest.

Tojo i know the one you mean ill check it out.
