Need help with Macap tamper

Hi,
today I took this tamper apart to clean it and now I cant make it CLICK..
can anyone tell me how to put it back together.!

Not having one I can only guess and it is the positioning of the two washers that escapes me...

Would suggest you go here http://www.macap.it/ and contact them... I am sure they would have a exploded diag that they could send...

I sent a mail to Macap in Italy... fingers Xed they can help me put this thing back together.!

is a nice tamper, but LOUD..
if your grinder or the espresso machine pump dont wake up your wife, this tamper WILL.. the CLICK is like a gun shot..

I have the Espro which I like a bit better, is a little heavier, low profile design and the click is very smooth..

hey...
my Macap is up and running (CLICKING)..

dont ask me how, but tonight after a glass (or two (or three)) of wine I got tired of seeing this bunch of springs and metal and tho about just putting it back toguether and keep is as paper weight... well.. dont know how but Macap is clicking loud and clear..

so here are my 3 tampers.. and have the heavies one on the way.. a fully steel 1, 14 oz beast..

Now the trick is to remember how you did it and to do it without the wine
