  • Renting cafe style cups etc.

    Hi All

Our workplace will be doing the "Biggest Morning Tea" charity event again this year, last year i took my machine and grinder to work and made about 60 or so and sold them for $2 each.
I think i would have sold more but i had staff coming up with our standard office mugs that are huge in comparison to a standard latte style cafe cup.

Can anyone suggest an outlet in Melbourne where i can hire these from, i think in reality i would only need about 60 or so at most. I dont really have the time to do massive amounts of research on this so would be happy to go with any suggestion put forward.

    Id suggest take-away cups.
I know, not as classy and not as good for the end result, but no washing up, no security deposit, no worrying about breakages, no chasing the ones taken back to desks etc.

Lombards, or Cheaper Party Supplies both stock them. Im sure a number of other places would too.

      Good suggestion Fatboy.
I wasnt even thinking down that road but for ease of use etc. proabably a good way to go.
We have a cafe at the bottom of the building i may even try to buy them off them, our company get along well with them and we do a bit of office catering through them as well.

Mal, have you looked into party or catering hire companies? I dont know of any in Melbourne but thats where Id start looking. Googling Melbourne Party Hire generates a few results to pick through.

Good luck with the event, its a great cause!

          Hi there
Not yet as time is my enemy at the moment with stupidly long hours every week.
Although i do like the idea of takeaway cups as it saves on effort all round by a country mile
