  • Nespresso Goes Greener?

    Was sent the following article...

"Nespresso has launched Ecolaboration, a platform for sustainable innovation and creating shared value. Nespresso commits itself to three targets by 2013: to source 80% of its coffee from its AAA Sustainable Quality Coffee Program; to treble its capacity to recycle capsules, to 75%; and to reduce the carbon footprint of a cup of Nespresso by 20%."

I love the way its phrased - suggests they already have the capacity to recycle 25% of their capsules, but the only collection centre Ive ever seen is more commonly known as a garbage bin.

Also good to see they are reducing the amount of carbon in each cup! ;D

        [i]"Nespresso has launched Ecolaboration...
Speaking of "choice of words", whered they get this one from?  :-?

An "e-collaboration" of spin doctors, tasked to baffle gullible consumers into thinking Nes%^* have e-credentials? Sounds as plausible as their green bean instant coffee promotion from about 6 months ago.  ;D
