I havent got round to building my own roaster of any form yet, so purchased a roasted sample pack from Beanbay about 3 weeks ago.
According to the theory of threes roasted beans last around 3 weeks, and while I am still getting good aeropress coffees from them, I still have over 1/2 of my kilo of beans left (one pack entirely unopened).
I will carry on using the beans until they become unpalatable, however I would like to know what everyone does with left-over beans? At the rate I am going, it could be another 2 months before I finished them.
I guess when you have your own roaster, you can tune how much you roast each week to your average usage, and I will soon look to get either a popper or coretto going.
Id rather not waste a lot of the beans that I will have leftover so does anyone have any suggestions for cooking, baking, etc, or do you just throw them away?
