  • Sunbeam cleaning tablets - available online?

    Hi all,

does anyone know where I could buy online the Sunbeam cleaning tablets for the EM6910? I think the tablets are item code EM0020.

Ive searched ebay, google, etc and cant find anywhere that sells them.

My local Myer (Canberra City) doesnt stock them, and the place they told me to go to I cant get to during the day due to being at work.

(I posted this in the Midrange coffee machine thread the other day, but it got moved to here, but acidentally got deleted in the move. I also asked about cafetto, and was told to check with coffeeparts.com, but they were unable to help me...so I am going to stick to trying to find the Sunbeam tablets...which is why I posted this thread in the midrange machine thread in the first place, as thats the EM6910 thread...).

    cheers folks.

Dont think they are available online.

Mostly they are available and in good supply at Sunbeam repair agents. Sounds like that may have been the place Myer told you to go.

Find out if they are open weekends. The one near us is.

You can get the service agent to send it out to you, obviously youll need to pay a bit extra for postage. Might as well get yourself a spare group seal while youre at it. I always like to keep a spare.

I would have thought cafetto is easy to get. Pretty much every coffee machine store Ive ever been in supplies it. Maybe thats just because its made here in Adelaide and its not as common in other states?

I just use the Cafetto powder for my 6910. Worked well so far. Cheap too.

In fact, I think Cafetto and Bombora market products that are intended as replacements for the Sunbeam/Breville/DeLonghi type of tablets and as Cyril mentions, theyre cheaper to boot.... 8-)

Granted, I was going to try Cafetto, but upon enquiring with Coffee Parts, there was some confusion as to which specific Cafetto product I should be using on the Sunbeam EM6910.

If someone could give me a product number for the right Cafetto product, Id give it a go.

            cheers.
