Thanks to everyone who attended on Saturday for making our last event of 2009 a fabulous afternoon & evening. A huge shout out to Hazel, Claire and Daniel from Coffee Alchemy for giving up their Saturday afternoon to host the event, Im personally very grateful for your time and effort in the lead up and on the day.

we got lost and didnt have much of an idea of which pub everyone went to after the huge get together at Hazels!
Sorry about that mate, I should have called to find out where you and Sue had ended up. Inhaling cider proved a tad too distracting. Hopefully you ended up in Enmore at Faheems Fast Food, some of the best northern indian & pakistani food in Sydney!

A great day, a lot of fun, cant wait to see you all again next year!

No need...Milk goes on cereal at our place, not in coffee.

The sink plunger is a fantastic tool, however.

Ben, wasnt that for my 2-group linea fund? ;( I feel robbed!

Glad you made it back - well be sure to coffeenate you more next time! Was really good to meet all the new faces & enjoy coffee/drinks/food, especially with the hospitality put on by Hazel, Claire and Daniel (thanks for the snails, baklava & bottles of water!). Your facilities were brilliant... but Im glad Ive seen the jug washer a few times. Theres something wrong in how desirable it is....and I wonder how many people are going to build one at home!

Thank you to Coffeehorse and Hazchem for organising this get together, and thank you especially to Hazel, Clare and Daniel for hosting such a great event. It was terrific to catch up with other snobs, and there were lots of new faces as well.

Bjeck14, I did stay awake all the way back to the Southern Highlands, only just though since I actually only had 6 espressos - I missed out on the Yemen. Ill try it next time though.

Appreciate it mate. We need more CS meets and more speeches, because as freney said, weve got a long way to go....

Due to Aarons phone going off during his speech, he will be contributing $50 to the Ben needs a 1-group Linea fund. Much appreciated Aaron.
Only $50? Youre going to need to call him at inopportune times more frequently to make that target, I think.

p.p.s highlight of the day for me was everyones fascination at the milk jug washer - you have a 2-group Linea, a Giesen, 5,000 grinders plus heaps more, and the milk jug washer wins??? ;D ;D

Thanks from me go particularly to Hazel, Clare and Danny - such incredible people and far too generous with their time and knowledge (well said Den).
Also to John and Aaron for organising the event - now we know how many people we can actually get along to these meets! :-)

Due to Aarons phone going off during his speech, he will be contributing $50 to the Ben needs a 1-group Linea fund. Much appreciated Aaron.

Great to see a whole lot of old faces, but also heaps of new faces!

p.s Vivienne - did your 8 spros keep you awake on the drive home? ;D
