Re: Mt Tamborine Coffee Plantation - A day trip for snobs!
For all those who havent been. I made the trip up the plantation over xmas. It was a great experience. Kees is a man with great knowledge, from the moment you walk in you feel welcomed.
For me seeing how the whole process from tree to what we drink was great. I now have a better understanding of wet hauled and dry processed coffee.
I purchased about 2kg of beans and to actually be involved with separating the husks from the bean makes the coffee Im now drinking even sweeter.
Anyway for those that live in SE QLD and you enjoy your coffee, you would be mad not to visit, even if it meant having a day off work....

Not too bad because it was a detour on a drive I had to do anyway. :-/
