  • Buying Brown Beans from CS

    Hi Guys,
Just got my Rancilio & making some very nice coffees in just 2 days..
Unfortunately going through a fair few beans.. Want to buy some beans from this site but theres so many to select from . Can anyone suggest a good start for cappuccinos ...Expresso wow? coffeesnob gold etc etc ? not sure where to start ?

For capps not Gold for my taste (nice for plunger or other brewed methods) and WOW is best suited for Short or Long Blacks IMO rather than Milk based drinks (currently wearing my flameproof coat hat, pants & underwear ) It still goes really well over Milk drinks but for me it doesnt quite hit the spot. So what to do out of the current offerings?

Best bet is to buy a variation of beans and decide for yourself. Maybe WOW, Harrar Longberry (great in milk), Peru Ceja de Selva (slightly different flavours) and even grab a decaff to try.

While it might be viewed as a cliché let your own taste buds guide you on your search for what YOU like

a little OT ... but ..  a real hidden gem is the CSM from Elderton (now called "Ode to Lorraine")

              back on track .....

What about Fiefys Blend .. that looks the goods for a Milk based drink. And the another option is to get the roasted Sample pack (4x 250grms)
