OK--another Greg in Adelaide! Good city, great name. ;D

Have a read of the recommended sites, and give it a try.

If Bellevue Heights is at all convenient to you, then youd be welcome to bring your equipment up some weekend and well see if we can get you going. Send me an email or PM if that sounds good to you.

    Greg

    ... Profile updated ...
    I live in Adelaide.
Ive just purchased a Saeco Via Venezia (with an unpressurized group handle on the way) and a Sunbeam EMO480 grinder.
I also have some basic accessories including a 52mm aluminium/stainless steel tamper.
Up until now Ive only ever used an oven top espresso pot and pre-ground beans.
    Cheers
    Greg

    My favourite is http://coffeesnobs.com.au/

If you can tell us what machine and grinder you have, that may help.

P.S. Where are you located? (please update your profile)
    So true...

One of the most active forums around...

There are some great How tos and other guides by CS members / Sponsors etc  but without knowing some more background..  We can not really assist...

And besides; If I had those extra powers I would have had the Lotto numbers ages ago and not be here..

As TG said... Update ya profile.

    AND read this... http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1257241858

Not having much luck with the search feature with this one ... Does anybody have some favorite web sites that could help a newbie learn about how to use his shiny new espresso machine and grinder to make great coffee?
The best bet is to get some quality training in a real course

In the interim, have a look at www.espressocompany.com.au/how-to.htm
