Re: Post pull dribble
Just thought Id post a quick update in case someone else has the same issue.
Basically, after acquiring the non-pressurised basket and getting the grind right, the problem all but disappeared. Its a whole new coffee machine.
Thanks to everyone for the advice here and elsewhere in the forums... [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Re: Post pull dribble
After the steaming, its nice and dry. But just after the pull, it is usually pretty sloppy. It was the same for the Gaggia.Originally posted by 0B242D2F38072B242B2D2F272F243E4A0 link=1278619975/3#3 date=1278632882Is the puk sloppy or nice and dry at present..If dry and a slight shower screen imprint (SLIGHT), then just the machine and the way it releases pressure or has a little blow back from the steam side ?

I would not ...
But then your the only one that can decide if it makes the final result any better.. It could be the best part of the shot
But I doubt it.

Post pull dribble
This is probably a silly and pedantic question, but Im curious so Ill ask anyway. And sorry about the title... I tried to resist... :
.
Anyway, I currently own an EM5600, my previous machine was a Gaggia Carezza. On both machines, while steaming the milk (after pulling the shot), a "dribble" of coffee comes through the basket.
Is this normal-ish or simply the consequence of owning low-end machines?
