I have a sieve but it is a bit coarse and quite a few beans end up through it. I sieved my beans pre roast this time and was shocked at how many tiny rocks there were.
I am yet to find anything metal though or corn kernels. I probably would have roasted the corn kernel just to see how far into the roast it would pop.

I am definately going to take AMs advice and put some magnetic tape in the grinder.



If you score a bit of granite or a harder rock you could kill a set of burrs.
