  • Hot drinks in Australia to 2013 - REPORT

    Hi all,

Im in the process of gathering together market research for a little business Im looking to get going in the not to distant future and am looking for information on the coffee industry in Australia. Ive just seen that theres a report recently published titled Hot drinks in Australia to 2013 by Datamonitor which would be an amazing resource to have right now although the price of $495 keeps it out of my reach.

If theres anyone out there thats purchased this report and would like to earn some extra good coffee karma, Id be more than thankful if you were willing and able to pass this on to me. I dont want anyone to pass it on if its not been okd by the powers that be, however if its yours, you paid for it and dont mind sharing it, Id be very grateful, thankful and happy for the kind gesture.

    All the best,
    Matthew

"would be an amazing resource to have right now"

Think that indicates why its $495.

    Now lets see:
$60,000 for the first copyright breach, etc, etc, etc.

What do you mean, wheres the copyright breach?!? Once purchased its yours to do with what you want as long as you dont reproduce it in any way or ty to pass it off there no problem with someone else reading it.

How is sending it to you not reproducing it? I doubt anyone would part with something worth $495 for free. If they did it would be a copy.

And If I just paid $495 for it... I would be wanting to glean some info to give me a competitive advantage....

So why would I give it (The actual copy that I purchased) to a potential competitor ?

          Thats right = NO WAY

          **********
Besides 75% plus  of it has been reproduced on the web all ready and give it another year and it will all be out there AND of course OLD by then...

I am sorry, nothing ground breaking and in my opinion some of the data collection methods are flawed and thus some data, the tables and conclusions are from a long bow..... errr sorry stats are just that; stats...

Big picture = Some Good reading and a few chuckles along the way...  $495 plus...  Only because of limited sales potential

Now for Sara Lee and a marketing manager needing to add weight to a new campaign or new product...  Yep: Just the sort of evidence some one up the management ladder would want to see referenced, so as to minimise any risk and or fall out when things went the other way... Thus $ 495 would just be petty cash and no even questioned... Ther are more than likley subscribers and get a couple of versions from other countries as well.  Looking for trends and movement of customer needs / wants etc.

Am I a sync..  NO...  Reality bites  8-)

Matthew was asking for the original to be passed on - NO copyright breach.

Because maybe youre a coffee snob and you didnt buy it for commercial reasons and on top of that youre the really nice guy Matthew was hoping to find with his post, and willing to pass the copy on.

I have briefly read up on what the "report" is about.

I dont understand though who/why anyone would want it.

I suppose im missing something??? :-[
