    Just cut the single-hole bottom off the basket and then you have an unpressurised basket and a bottomless pf and you are good to go.

    Do it carefully as the screen may only be a mm or so behind the single-hole bottom.

    yep, may just go that way, are there generic baskets around or is it a breville i have to look for...

    you should be able to get a non pressurised basket for the breville and then your naked handle should do the job

    help modding a PF

    hey lads, this is what i have done so far: i have the breville 800 as my backup machine, decided to cut the bottom out of the PF big mistake as the filter basket is double walled with a single outlet hole of under .5mm. Now the shot belts out in a jet stream. seems in the base of the PF was a retarder of sorts....whats the best plan of attack now? open up more outlets or get a new PF?
