I just wanted to see where people are getting thier beans from as I was thinking of having a look around to see if there is anything better that the beans I get from ........

    Then:
There is a place next door to my work that said they would roast then for me so might try that when I use my beans up.

    Then:
I currently get 2k of beans roasted and shipped to me but I dont get through them quick enough....
2 kilos in household use would under normal conditions be well stale if not resaonably "ugly" before you finish it. That is ofcourse not the suppliers fault.

Unless I have misunderstood, wouldnt it have been so much easier than mail order if not better from a quality point of view to have been buying your weekly supply (usually less than 500g a week at home) from the bloke next door to your work?????

Yea I did not say it was the suppliers fault, it is mostly my fault for getting alot and storing it in the freezer. lol im going to get it now.

I use to get through it alot quicker and just got use to getting it sent out like that.

I did try getting coffee the the place next door that roast every day but did not like it too much.

Roasting my own coffee will let me try my own blends and I think it will be fun. Plus I will know that its fresh.
