  • Coffee flavour wheel - has anyone seen one?

Ive seen a number of posters with a coffee flavour wheel on them, but have not seen them for sale anywhere. Has anyone ever seen them?
There is a picture of one in a PDF at Canterbury Coffees website
    http://www.canterburycoffee.com/list/EspressoSupply.pdf
    but theyre based in Canada.....
Anyone seen one for sale, or know a source of them?

    Poundy,

A cafe near the Vic Market called Coffea Cafe has coffee flavour wheels for sale. Not sure if they are the same as your link. The ones at Coffea are cardboard circular contraptions that you spin to the desired bean origin (I think) and it then describes the characteristics of the bean. From memory they have another’s for beer & tea.

Have you seen the flavour wheel on sweetmarias:

I believe they also sell posters of these somewhere on their site.

    Cheers
    Ed

Some one has done a lot of clicking the forums have been set to ban people that do that and if it happens they will not be unbanned. Its to stop people from crashing the forum.

Ed, the flavour wheels you posted links to on SweetMarias is what Im after. I think that these are probably an SCAA resource. This page on SMs site shows the wheel poster as well, I would prefer to buy local if possible, but that may not be possible.....

I havent found these locally either. Just noticed that the SCAA have other posters - Art of Aroma http://tinyurl.com/6q9c7. Maybe a few people would be interested and a postage saving could be made? Dont know.

So is it any easier to get a "coffee flavour wheel" in 2007?

Boy this was really a popular thread in 2004- read 1690 times!! (was that number real?)
