  • Coffee Beans in Sarawak

Anyone know where i can buy fresh roasted beans in Sarawak? Bintulu would be ideal, but Kuching or Miri would be ok also.

Yeah thanks for that but im looking to purchase here in Malaysia. Whilst it may be possible to send here by courier, apart from the cost likely being prohibitive the clearance times here make it not worthwhile.
We generally allow 4months+ for spare parts lead times. Critical items we can generally get them rushed through in a couple of weeks(via DHL).

        Hi Fivegallon,

While its not exactly close to you (big bit of water in between) Apparently, theres a place in KL that does really good coffee, roasting their own Mercanta sourced beans.

This from a friend who recently travelled to KL: "RAW coffee in Wisma Equity! Opposite KLCC, roaster from Artisan Coffee in the UK. He roasts in-house and sources green from Mercanta. You will love it! I had two double ristrettos."

Im not sure how far away it is (time-wise), but I believe a popular roaster from Australia is setting up operations in Singapore also, which might be an option in the future.

Hi ACog, thanks for that bit of info. KL is a very definite option as we have guys crew-changing through there and the mob we contract to have an office there.
I will get my contacts onto it... fast running out of beans here.

          Cheers!
