  • Long Term Green Bean Storage

I have just a quick question in regards to bean storage. Andy quoted this in the Beanbay thread:

A couple of years without a problem, 3 or more if you store them very well. I roasted some well stored Puerto Rico Yauco from 2.5 years ago and they came up as good as I remembered.

My question is, how do you store them "very well"

Type green bean storage in the Quick Search field at the top right and happy reading.

Somewhere not too warm with good airflow.
I keep mine on shelves in my garage in the calico bags they come in from Coffee Snobs.
