At first I thought "cool, use fresh beans and it might be ok". Then I thought again and realised that noone should ever do this, as it completely defeats the one thing that nespresso has going for it - convenience.
If youre going to go to this trouble, get a manual machine.
Well, as repulsive as the whole idea of using these pods is to me, I do applaud the guy for coming up with a way to save money on them.
A lot of people do use them and like them (I dunno why.. they just do), so I reckon its a great if anyone is trying to find ways to stop being gouged. Or at least reduce the gouging.
Like I said, not for me but for those who use pods, I think it would be an interesting video.
Goodness, that was chuckle and a half ;D.
Did ya see the focus, heart n love he put into those pods?
Heres a different take on espresso tragic.
I must emphasis this is not to be attempted by anyone interested in making a good espresso.
I say it because there are people here on this forum who are new to quality coffee making and i dont want them to be mislead.
I had to laugh when he said "make sure your groin is coarse".

Brilliant!
The nespresso guy reminds me of my in laws who reuses their pods multipy times to save a few bucks, They say it tastes just as good. No joke :-?
Good to know the regulars to this forum are getting a good chuckle.
But please, to those who are here to learn how to make good coffee, Please do not follow the above videos that Greenman and yours truly have posted, as they are only meant to deliver a light hearted relief to the hard core caffeinated soul.
;D ;D ;D :

There, i have put my mind at rest. If anyone comes complaining they followed the direction of the vids, and they cant seem to get a good cuppa.... may the good lord help you.
That looked like a better cup of coffee than the appalling rubbish I had at a new local Cafe this week. Instead of spending $4000. on the big shiny 3 group they could have bought three Nespresso Machines for $200. each and 200 kilos of Lavazza for the remaining $3400. They could pack their pods whilst watching TV at night.
