It is likely the coffee grinder was a spice grinder. Pretty common for people to use them for this stuff. You would have to be crazy to put fireworks in there though as a blade grinder would cause some heat. People use the grinders for making black powder(gun powder) but the difference is you dont mix the ingredients in there you grind them separate and then mix them later.

Weve all done some silly stuff. Youtube isnt helping though is it!!
