  • Iin search of a good cup.

    Hey CS

Im ready to join you in your journey to better coffee. But im new and need some help.

Im a Brisbanite so am looking for some coffee that you can recommend for me (for home use) as well as some good cups to drink out of.

I have been looking at the ACF cups and these seem to have a lot of appeal in the market. Am i on the right track.

Please help me live a better life.

Re: Iin search of a good cup.

I have purchased a set of 12 ACF cups from Coffee-A-Roma (6 tulip espresso, 6 round cappuccino 170mL) which are due to arrive any day now, hopefully. I will let you know how they go I have seen them used quite a few cafés, and they seem very durable and of a high quality.

There is a reasonable selection of good roasters in Brisbane. Try Blue Sky Coffee 32 Commercial Road Newstead or The Coffee Roasters 1/7 Anthony Street, West End. Ive bought from both and found their coffee excellent. Blue Sky has a pretty cool cafe where they roast too.

          Hi Jessica,

If you bother to have a decent look around the forum, you will come across the "Good Coffee Where" section and there you will find more than enough to help you in your search.

          Welcome to the forum btw...

Ive found the beans I get from this site miles ahead of most beans I can buy locally (in Melbourne). In terms of cups I like the double walled glass things. Bodum do latte size ones.
