    Re: Setting Up a cafe

    Welcome chapelcafe,

    Whereabouts are you?

Presume you have done the marketing research and feasibility studies.
Try and source locally if you can.
Just like food when you can depend on freshness of local produce from suppliers like bakeries who make your cakes and bread as well as speed of service, try your closest, dependable and reputable roastery who can or may deal with coffee machinery, grinders, chocolate powders, sugars, coffee cups, take away cups etc.

You may have the option of whether you want to purchase the coffee machine independently or have an arrangement with the roastery with machinery lease agreement.

Plan to over budget everything, some unforeseen factors may and will come into play.

My philosophy, better to pay a bit extra for that something and be happy with it, rather than pay less and then be unhappy later.

Expect the best and plan for the worst.

Good luck. Plenty of support and advice here, and over there if you take the time and trouble to ask around.
