Hi lemoo,
Try Andys Pure Cocoa powder from Bean Bay.
It is fabulous.
Mix with water to your requirements.
This powder makes a great chocolate sauce over ice cream etc.
thanks for the reply cjn!

so ive been thinking of giving a go at etching just out of curiosity
but i dont really want to just pour chocolate syrup into my coffee if possible so i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with making their own coffee syrup?
my thoughts and experiments so far have led to pulling 2 double shots and adding some chocolate powder to try and thicken it?
would love to hear any recipes or even any other general thoughts
Gday lemoo,
We used that exact recipe at the Coffee Academy in the old days when latte art was just beginning in Australia. Although etching is a touch passe now, its still fun to play with.
Give the mix some time in the fridge after you make it to let it thicken and then etch away
