if im at home in the morning ill have a couple of double macs and maybe a ristretto too if i have time. Ill often have another double ristretto when i get home and an affogato after dinner if ive got any gelato in the freezer. Which reminds me, I better get out to Ice & Slice and grab some more.

if im at a cafe, its not all that different. Double macs and ristrettos, triples if Im at Mecca. Sometimes a piccolo latte at Single Origin, always a cappuccino at Sea Bar. A new place near me called Mano had something called espresso divino for a while, which was a double shot blended with pannacotta gelato. Done just by hand with a spoon, it was delicious! Off the menu now, but easy to repeat at home.

At cafes or at home its latte, in the office black plunger coffee. Occasionally after a big meal I like a short black. Very occasionally Ill have a vienna or affogato.

If I dont trust the coffee (eg. reduced to starbucks/gloria jeans while stuck in a one-horse town) then Ill either go for a mocha or a syrup shot (irish cream will cover up just about any sins).

Two double ristretto 3/4 lattes first thing in the morning (usually one followed quickly by another) and another two or three of the same throughout the day (if I am working) - with the amount of milk added gradually dwindling, until Im either drinking straight espresso, or espresso with a drop of cold milk added!

Give me anything Black. Hmm, maybe I should rephrase that, anything good & black.

Only variation on that theme is for dessert ie: Affogatto or Ye Olde Ice Coffee.

I put in a few as it really has to do with my mood (I am a woman after all ;D).

And the joy of having a machine at home is that you can have what you want, when you want it.

I used to knock down a few Bon Bons in Spain a few years ago.

30ml espresso shot+ equal amount of condensed milk=wicked.
Vietnamese coffee is very similiar, only it uses a turkish grind/steeped coffee rather than espresso. It is usually served at the table with the grounds still steeping in a small pot and with the condensed milk commonly being served over ice.

Java "A wicked drink indeed!" phile

An Agravatto is an empty coffee cup.  ;D

My local pub has an "Affrogato" (sic) on their desert menu....I shudder- but suspect that it may well contain some of that Brazilian coffee referred to by Baristacrat in an earlier post ;D.
