Re: Where to buy Segafredo cups

I havent been in, but there is a Segafredo cafe - as in it doesnt just sell Segafredo coffee, it is Segafredo, where they may well sell the cups! It is on Queen St near Lt Lonsdale, in the city (Melb!).

Nuova Point - are there any Australian stockists at all? Espresso cups are too small, and cappuchino cups 150ml are too large, I want the 80ml demitasse.. These would be great:

There is an American ebayer selling them (same company), but USD$40 postage alone..

Can you suggest a way for me to get hold of these (aside from going to the US, or registering myself as an importer) ;D

    Hi there,

Tintub, could you please advise (either on this thread or through private message) where you obtained the 6 Segafredo cappuccino cups for $20?? Was it in Melbourne?
Im really keen to get some, however most that I can find online are very expensive. I think you did well for $20.

    Many thanks!

woohoo - managed to get 6 segafredo cap. cups today from a cafe for $20. Expect to see some barely used Nuova Point cups with handles that are too small on ebay soon

Tintub - yeah I would agree with you there about the np cups.... the handles are tooooo small to get your fingers in... a bit of a shame as it lets down an otherwise excellent cup!

Ive always been fond of the shape of Segafredo cups, the circle on the inside and rounded square on the outside. The ring on my little finger is the same shape and I always like watches with the same shape too. It should have a name!

Anyway I bought the Nuova Points from eBay in the end, which are nice except for the handles which you have to pinch to hold and arent really that comfortable

    Hi guys,

Segafredo? Havent seen them in Melbourne, but didnt pay that much attention to commercial coffee in Melbourne.  Sick of the Segafredo Im being served over here in Germany though. Its like.....I dont know what its like....but the taste in my mouth from all the cigarette smoke in this internet cafe is similar to the aftertaste of the segafredo I had last night.

    Hi!
I bought some awesome nuova point espresso and cappachino cups off ebay a little while back. They are very awesome cups, I like them alot ;D

From memory I think that 6 espresso cups were $18 and the six cappa cups were $26. Im pretty sure that they are still being sold on ebay.

To have a look at them, you can view this post on my blog:

    Where to buy Segafredo cups

Does anyone know where I can buy these cups in Australia? Only place I have found so far is http://www.notjustcoffee.com/ , but would like to find somewhere in Melbourne if possible to save on the shipping. Otherwise, if anyone knows a place where good cups can be bought, Segafredo or not, I would like to know.

I bought a Silvia today on all your recommendations (Ive been lurking). Bloody beautiful coffee
Working...
