Hi, I also was going to purchase one of those posters but bulked at the postage, so I would be interested if you are doing a bulk buy.

Did anyone actually get those Flavour Wheel posters? I am keen to get them if anyone else is interested in ordering bulk. I assume no one in Australia is licensed to sell them yet.
If anyone one in Thailand thought there was demand for these there would be cheap knock offs for sale in the markets of Patong ;D

Whatever you do, MAKE SURE POSTAGE IS INSURED.
    Especially at that rate.

Just yesterday I finally received compensation for a very small parcel, sent air mail to the US, three months ago ---- and never delivered.

Australia Post discharged its end admirably, delivering to the US overnight. What happened after that is anyones guess.

    Luckily I insured.

If your looking for numbers and the cost ends up being around the $20 each region, count me in also for one.

Any idea how to work out the weight of say 20 posters plus a tube? If if came to 5 pounds (2.27kg) that works out to be about $2.56 Australian per poster in postal costs. At $12 US or approx $16.70 Aus plus $2.56 postage = $19.26 Aust

Then there is the Australian distribution postal costs...

All in all if they came in for around $25 Aust it seems like a fair deal.

NB: All calculations and prices are my own rough guesstimates nothing in stone, as you may have guessed

Think Consolidated Freight, (DHL Circle or any of the other Carriers) Brother used to Pay $3.00 USD a Kilogram for Electronic Components (30-150 Kg per week) when he was with another Company some Years ago (4 days- Calif to Sydney- Door to Door), Ill have to ring him up and ask him who he uses now..

Doing some quick calculations on the US postal services site (http://www.usps.gov) I get the following rates for small packages (package dimensions total less than 84 inches) shipped to Australia in 4-10 days:

    5 pounds for $USD36.90

    10 pounds for $USD59.30

    15 pounds for $USD81.70

The only cheaper option takes 4-6 weeks for delivery and costs:

    $USD22.75 for 5 pounds

    $USD29.60 for 10 pounds

    $USD36.45 for 15 pounds

The poster is 24 inches by 36 inches. Thats all the dimensional information on their site.

    Good on ya Java,
Perhaps Etienne could answer the dimension questions?

Ive had golf clubs posted out from the USA and they can get expensive if the package is over a certain length, something around 42 inches from memory...? Perhaps if the tube is particularly long the postage could be high, but still seems crazy.

It cant seriously cost $63 US postage...

Maybe a CS member based in the States could forward them on to us using a more standard postal method. Im looking at you Java
I can do that. Any idea of the weight for a dozen of them and the size of the tube?
