Yeah it has been a while since we had a monsooned bean. I know Im out of them too even though I only use a little in a blend it still disappears.

Ill see whats around and more importantly, whats good!

The rest of your shopping list is sounding pretty similar to next months polls so if you dont get a PM from a fellow CSr check back at the end of this month and Im sure you find some beans that will "fit".

              Andy,

The latte and cap drinkers here (residents and guests) reakon its the best taste - EVER!!!

Some call, but I kind of agree- especially in milk based drinks- its great. Good thing I decided to gamble and try it.

Any chance of more any time soon?

Buying from BeanBay is hardly a "gamble", its all great coffee!

You wont see that particular Malabar in the next BeanBay but we will have a shot at more monsooned beans as they arrive in the country and if they are good then yes, they will be offered-up too.

Unfortunately great beans can have a "taste" which doesnt please everyone- a good example was the SO bean which Epic sold last month..... some (Corey, Grendel and I) loved it whilst others didnt- in fact one person even said they couldnt swallow an espresso made from that bean.

Whilst I agree totally all your beans (well those that Ive tried so far at least) have been great some have a flavour which appeals more to my taste (and to other members of the household) than do others. Ive yet to try blending different beans to get even better flavours... using only SO at the moment.

Gendel - thanks for talking me into this particular bean.... looks like Ill use your taste as a guide in future... our taste seems to be very similar

Is the Malabar from the last BeanBay THE Monsooned Malabar about which so much has been written Andy? I wasnt aware that there were several varietals that used the same tag....

In my "most humble" opinion, the Indian Monsooned Malabar, as a SO is streets ahead of anything else Ive roasted. In fact, mad as it may seem to some, Id happily drink this and nothing else forever. I find that the velvety crema goes right through the cup and it has the most gorgeous mouth feel and flavour of all.
