Re: expobar steam wand tips
Ive got both the two hole and four hole from coffeeparts and deffinatley get better microfoam from the 2 hole we really only use the four hole for functions and stuff where time is at a premium. the cool touch is fantastic though deffinatley recomended.

Re: expobar steam wand tips
Ive got 3 steam tips at the moment on a normal steam wand (not cool touch)Originally posted by adharvey link=1199007226/0#5 date=1199009954I wanted to steam milk more quickly, I have a single hole wand now.
A - standard minore (mk1) 2 hole, larger diameter than B. Slight angle on the holes.

[/img]
B - small diameter two hole coffeeparts. Straight.

C - 4 hole coffeeparts tip, angled.

C gives me huge bubbles, and I find the pressure drops off in the steam boiler too quickly. I havent used it more than a dozen times, so the big bubbles are due to me.
B is far too slow for my liking.
I like to use the standard steam tip (A). I can steam up a storm of microfoam with a 350ml jug (~140ml of milk).

Re: expobar steam wand tips
I have an Expobar Office as well. I have two different steam tips that I have bought, plus the original. I bought a 2-hole conical steam tip from Coffeeparts and it is great for microfoam. Is suited to smaller jugs, especially the 300mL and can still do the 600mL okay. I also bought a 4-hole tip from Coffeeparts for when I am doing a larger number of consecutive coffees. The 4-hole tip is extremely fast and as a home barista wouldnt want to use it in anything under 600mL, which is what I use it for.
Coffeeparts stock the 10mm female-threaded tips, which is what you are looking for.

Re: expobar steam wand tips
Other wands are available. You will be able to replace the tip with a standard 2 hole 10 mm tip or you can replace the entire wand with a Minore II cool touch wand which has a fantastic 2 hole tip (at a price
)
