Hi Everyone,
Im just wondering whether in Australia coffee is considered a food product? If it isnt, what is its classification.
Im under the impression that coffee is NOT a food.
It is roasted, ground and pressurized under temperature to extract and essence (espresso) and then is knocked away never to be used in again ... except in some cafes :P
So the way I see it is that the roasted coffee itself is never ingested...
Well, Ive laid down the gauntlet... Please give me all of your thoughts, opinions, and evidence if you can find any.
Cheers All.
