OK, on another thread I exposed the wonders of getting my non caffeine wife to drink espresso. Now I could use some help...
First question: Is there some fancy official name for a shot of espresso (30 ml) with about 15 ml of hot water added? For some reason this is my wifes preference and Id love to be able to say "one "ladidah thingamejob" coming up!
Second question: I introduced her with some Guatemalan Antigua I had - but have since run out. This morning I grabbed the blend I usually consume which we can euphamistically call "the milk cutter" and she declared it much stronger and not as preferred. I have some Kenyan AA which Im worried may be a bit "too full". I also have some Sumatran Mandhelling? Should I go with the Sumatran for her or rush out and grab more Guat? If Im going to rush out (again :-[ ) are there any other SOs snobs would like to suggest as a nice mellow cup. If youve got tasting notes use Guat Antigua as a good starting point.
