    Re: Terra Keramik Cups

I was in Maleny Qld yesterday  sitting in a cafe when I saw a sign advertising these coveted cups. Thinking it was unlikely that they would have anything I made inquiries and.sure enough they had a good range of TK cappuccino cups. The downside was that they werent cheap but it may be the only opportunity to get my hands on some. So I bought two. The shop is called Colin James . Andrew who imported the cups is also a CSer & he might respond to this.
If you want to buy I.suggest you give him a call as he doesnt have all stock at the cafe. Google the shop name for info.
Sorry Qlders I was on tight family visit schedule and dont have an opportunity to socialize with you.

          Hi Flynn,
It was nice to meet you, I hope you got your cups home safely and you are enjoying using them.  Thanks again for posting some info about finding them in our shop.
I still have some cups left  which are surplus to my requirements.  I know they are a little more expensive than E61, but I am just letting them go at the price it cost me to land them in Australia.  PM if you are interested.

          Thanks again Flynn

          Andrew

            Re: Terra Keramik Cups

My pleasure ; great food, great coffee and the discovery of a TK cup supply was such a pleasant surprise that I just had to grab a couple.

My cups arrived home safely thank you but I havent put them to use yet.

They are much too beautiful to be just eye candy. I intend to christen them this weekend with a syphon brew of Ethiopian Yirgachefe - with photos. Yes, these are cappuccino cups but the first brew will have to be non-milk Im afraid (and my latte art isnt up to a proper standard  :-[ )

I should mention that the full name of Andrews cafe is "Colin James Fine Foods" because that is what you will find there. They have won many awards for their gelati - something I didnt try but judging by the queue at the servery, a follow up visit is in order next time Im north of the border. There werent many empty tables either.

                  ***DROOL***

Im just trying to decide between the green, the cobalt blue or the light blue!

Actually, truth be told, Id love one in each of the six pretty colours, but I dont think Pete would appreciate me spending that much.

                    Re: Terra Keramik Cups

It was a toss up for either light or cobalt blue for me. The black caught my eye as well. But, like you, I would settle for a set of each colour.

Noice! They look closer to the cobalt than light blue ? (The colour quality of the various pics around make it hard to be certain)

                        Re: Terra Keramik Cups

I think theyre the cobalt blue. Okay, I bit the bullet and have placed my order: one light blue, one cobalt blue, one yellow and one green! A few more than I thought but it only leaves two colours to go until I have all of the six.

A huge thanks to Matt at E61 Espresso Machinery for making these available to us.

Stay tuned for a new profile pic!

Happy Mothers Day to me... Now to break the news to Pete!

                          They certainly are beautiful.
Now if only they made them in a 90 or 100 ml size.

My E61 Flood Charity Auction voucher has been waiting for these  (so at least it wont look like Ive spent quite so much ).  Again, a huge thanks to Matt at E61 for making that part of the Charity Auction possible.

Im leaning towards orange and light blue.
