right so through all this tutting no one has actually ground and pulled green beans or a mix????

It is a given that NC is shit, but what about the principle ???

          Re: nescafe GREEN blend??!!

wtf is meant by "unfrosted" green beans? They normally come dipped in icing sugar or cocaine??
Even if I were an instant coffee drinker I would rule this out because I hate having psuedo-science marketing bullplop forcefed to me like a consumer-goose being fattened up for fois gra(s)tuity. Pet peeve, even.

And as quick response to sparcs, Ive tried under-roasted beans and found it less than delicious, my desire to have more antioxidants in my diet is less than my desire to have coffee that tastes good and it just doesnt seem plausible that on taste alone this would be a winning idea. In terms of the AOs, maybe it would be worth trying if you felt you needed that but how are you going to be able to compare AO levels at home? Maybe if you have a scientific background?

1: Principle... Tried an espresso over a blue cheese and found it to be rather - interesting - NOT....

Raw any thing is not a principle of mine... Meat and over cooked vegies for me ;D

2: Icing sugar or Cocaine.. Suchhhhh My wife always wants to know why I rinse and collect the water from all the SA coffee bags... Dont say any thing...

3: more antioxidants or a vice... Ummmm Lung lolly time..

So in a nut shell.. If some one wants to grind / brew and drink green coffee beans.. FINE.. Not for me at this stage.

to be clear guys, i think this joshua fairfield is the one with the magical beans (possibly from Columbia) so we should all party at his house later and try his stuff! discuss this with him further via PM.

Hey guys! I know this thread is stale, however, I've been drinking green blend these past few weeks.. it wasn't until a friend pointed out dramatic weightloss that I realised it could be this product. I had a baby 19mths ago, and during the pregnancy I stacked on approx 30 kgs.. - I liked food! and since then I've found it hard to lose any real noticeable weight. I started drinking it, because it was on special.. then found I really liked the taste.. so much so that when I'd go for a sip and find my cup empty - I felt a little sad.. so I'd make another cup. Over the span of the past 6 weeks, I've done nothing unusual to my eating and exercise habits - save for green blend, and total weightloss approx from that date is 6.5kgs. the dramatics noted by a friend as previously mentioned are seen in loss of inches.. If what they say about Polyphenol Antioxidants is true then how bad could it be? I'm a barista and I love the taste of good coffee, real coffee.. but at home I'm an instant coffee girl and this is the best I've found so far.
