      Agree..... 8-)

Excellent setup and hardware layout there Dennis; perfect for prospective clients to get a great perspective of the pros and cons of all the various machines in the line-up. Love that Diadema Junior Extra though, beautiful machine.

      All the best mate,
      Mal.

Great set up Den. Congrats (again) on the new direction and I hope the joint Cuppacoffee-Talk Coffee (or is that Talk Cuppacoffe?) venture is a steaming success.

I trust you have this photo in a good 1/4 or 1/2 page ad in the Shire Leader. I am sure there are people living on the foreshores of Port Hacking, Cronulla and Sylvania Waters wondering where to spend their $s now the stock market is looking grim. Convince them that while they are waiting for the fiscal furore to finish, they could do little better than to sit back and enjoy a good cup of Shire Blend or World Blend in a shiny new piece of bling that will look just perfect in their kitchen.

My missus has already given me the go-ahead to buy one of your machines (when I win Lotto)

        Steve

          Thanks Steve,

When Dennis does it, its always executed with style 8-)

For those looking for some espresso making bling, there are unprintable opening specials on the entire Talk Coffee range for all orders placed with Dennis this weekend.

PM, Skype, call or email for pricing on your chosen gear.

          Chris (& Dennis)

            Re: Talk Coffee Sydneyside!

Thanks for the supportive comments, NE1, Mal and Steve.

Just to clarify, what we have here is definitely "Talk Coffee, Sydney" based at Cuppacoffee. Im still roasting coffee, managing wholesale and retail sales, providing mobile Barista services, and enjoying every minute of it.

I think Cuppacoffee is the only Sydney-based coffee roasting Sponsor, and with the addition of the Talk Coffee range of machines and service, its like Disneyland for Coffee Snobs in Sydney!

Steve, thats a great idea regarding the ad in The Leader...will definitely look into it and perhaps some other publications in surrounding areas as well.

            Cheers!

Yes but one complements the other. To get the best of their Cuppacoffee beans they need the right grinder and espresso maker. To get the best of their new TC equipment, they should get fresh beans - "heres some I prepared earlier".

Put some flyers up around shopping centres as well. Perhaps set up a mini-stands in Miranda Fair (but I think shopping ctr mgt tend to ask big dollars for these sorts of things).

Have you considered a mobile cart around the northern areas of Cronulla especially the Eloura to Greenhills section. Im sure surfers and swimmers getting out of the water this time of the year might welcome a cup of coffee.

So are you going to hire an assistant when the news gets out and there are queues forming outside 5/1 Box Road?

                Re: Talk Coffee Sydneyside!

Great looking setup, Dennis. Those three HX machines are the ones on my shopping wish list - how did you know? : (Gotta agree with Mal, that Diadema looks a beautiful bit of gear.)

Big motivational reasons for me to get over to your shire again for a visit.

                  Re: Talk Coffee Sydneyside!

Great venture Chris & Den - I hope its fruitful for you both.

Youre going to be a busy boy Den - roasting, marketing, demonstrating, barista-ring ...

Steves idea of an ad in the local rag is good - but as a former journo, can I suggest that you will attract more readership if its published as a news-worthy article rather than an ad. Send them a media release & make a follow up call. Get them to come & interview, & you get a story about the business without having to pay for an ad. Trust me, journos are a lazy bunch, & love faxed media releases as easy scoops for an article!

Its gotta be pitched as news-worthy though, to convince the editor that its publish-able.

Think about whats on the punters minds at the moment, & why they would consider investing their sacred $$$ on a nice bit of gear, compared to getting a 6910 for quite cheaper at Myers at Miranda Fair. And why should I buy a bit of gear for that amount of dosh, when its easier to just keep frequenting my local caff?

Ill consider writing a press-release for you lads, contingent upon my consultancy fee ;D

                  Best of luck,
                  Tony

                    Re: Talk Coffee Sydneyside!

Yep, Tony is right. I inquired a while ago about an orchid show I wanted to advertise and this is is something Fairfax Community newspapers suggested - an advertorial. If possible, latch on to a local event that might be vaguely relevant to coffee - but theres always room for good coffee (you could use that for a by-line)

Tony might even come good with a bit of advertorial coffee copy you could plagia borrow.

Congratulations, Chris, not only on opening a branch in Sydney, but in scoring the talents of Dennis - you werent kidding about him having style.

Good luck with your move, Hazchem, Im only a couple of days behind you.

GregJW, get your eyes off that Diadema - if one of them is moving down this way, its coming to my place.
