    Re: Talk Coffee Sydneyside!

Nope, Im staying in the same town, in a house that has a corner in the kitchen just made for my coffee setup (or any machine that should come along later on). Ill let you know when its set up, though youll need to settle for Silvias espresso for the time being.

tee hee, our new place gives me a choice of a corner or a kitchen island to set up on, depending on what else is happening in the kitchen. Poor real estate agents must have though I was mental when I came to viewings with a tape measure to be sure there was plenty of clearance under the kitchen cupboards for current and future equipment! Makes the list of selection criteria quite long though, but I suspect I wouldnt be the only one here who has done something like this!

To get back on topic, I hope the opening went well Den and with any luck Ill be unpacked enough by Friday to come over and have a bit of a sticky beak and play with some grinders.

          Talk Coffee Sydney Opening Bash

On Saturday, 8th November, Chris and I would like to invite you all to a very special event to celebrate the opening of Talk Coffee, Sydney.

What we have planned for the day...

[*]Well be offering thermostability upgrades for the Giotto Premium absolutely free to the first 6 owners who send me a pm (subject to inspection).
[*]Come and check out our machines! With each order of a HX or dual boiler machine and grinder (at our usual unbeatable discounts), spend just $1.00 more and get a full accessory kit of: 500gm coffee, backwash detergent, Rattleware tamper, knock tube, tamping mat and milk jug.
[*]Like to pull a better shot and not quite there yet? All you need to do is bring in your machine and well assist you.

[*]Free sausage sizzle, drinks, cakes, and of course, coffee.

Thanks Darren - will look forward to meeting you too!

One person has already booked their Giotto in for a free thermostability upgrade, so five opportunities are still available.

                    Im looking forward to it!

It will great to meet some more Sydney CSers, give something back with the complimentary upgrading and testing and hopefully pull a whole heap of shots!

For those contemplating ordering machinery from the Talk Coffee range, keep the day free and come for a drive. Dennis hospitality and Talk Coffee pricing will make the excursion well worth your time

Allison has to work that Saturday so if Im feeling up to bringing the 2 littlums on a trip that really doesnt interest them I may make it. Added bonus of hanging out with coffee people and giving the botticelli a check up is sounding good.

RSVP for my wife and me!

Will be great to see you again (Dennis AND Chris), surrounded by beautiful machinery, Dudley doing his thing, jugglers, beautiful coffee. Sounds like a great day.

BTW - 1st Nov wouldnt have been any good for me - tied up with the Picton Music and Harvest Festival (I dont if any coffee is being done - not much coffee harvested around here ;D). If anyones out here on the day, Ill be the one singing at the George IV Hotel in the afternoon.

Anyway, looking forward to the 8th!
