  • What I hate about Coffee on TV !!

One thing I cant stand about coffee on TV is that whenever the actors have a cappuccino, latte or whatever, there is never any signs of any coffee having been in the cup, before or after they have a sip.

The inside of the cup always remain spotless!! [smiley=angry.gif]

    Not a Rosetta in sight!!

When they order their coffee, they get it in like 5 seconds flat!!

Maybe its practical for TV producers to do this, but as a CS it annoys the hell out of me [smiley=evil.gif]

    Before I became a CS I never noticed .......... 8-)

Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest [smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]

P.S. Frasier is the main offender!!

Well, Im not sure the art of coffee preparation makes for entertaining viewing for the general public.
I think Frasier is one of the better examples actually.

No, it doesnt. But I never mentioned coffee preparation.

Only what you see in the cups, while theyre drinking it. Or rather what you dont see.

      Just an observation.

            Good question :-)

Television is a telecommunication system for broadcasting and receiving moving pictures and sound over a distance. The term has come to refer to all the aspects of television from the television set to the programming and transmission. The word is derived from mixed Latin and Greek roots, meaning "far sight": Greek [ch964][ch8134][ch955][ch949] "tele", far, and Latin visio-n, sight (from video, vis- to see).

Gosh! Like having someone do my web surfing for me while I just sit and watch? How do I tell them what I want to see?

TV is getting worse every day!!... so much rubbish...

The sooner Digital is the norm and VOD is the norm, the better. I hate being at the mercy of TV Programming....

Ill have my Media Center up and running soon (Building it from scratch to suit my specs) so I can choose what to record and when to watch it.. and bypass some of the horrible (and at times morally wrong) advertising.

Surely its there by now. I was living in Carnarvon in 1970 / 1971 when TV started up there. All I remember about it was that it was about the time of cricket season cos some WA cricketer (dunno who as I dont follwo any sport) got a lot of wickets and it was played over and over on the ABC.

To get back on topic, Ive never seen Frasier nor Friends so I cant comment on their coffee (most US sitcoms are not comedies so sitcom is a misnomer).
