  • Summer Cupping Series 2009 - First Pour Brisbane

    We have some amazing origins that have pulled into port this week and we are very, very excited!

    On Saturday the 31st of January 2009. The First Pour Brisbane will be offering free public cuppings every Saturday from 10:00am to 11:30am.

    Our Summer offerings are:

    * Kenya AA Kichwa Tembo
    * Colombia Special Select 18 plus Spectacled Bear Antioquia
    * Guatemala SHB EP Huehuetenango Rio Azul
    * El Salvador Pupled Natural from the Batres family
    * Rawandan Ngyoma.

    This is a chance to cup some real bad boys in an open forum, we will have a discussion of the collection of taste experiences from each of the cuppers present at the day. The Summer Series will commence on Saturday the 31st of January.

    Peter Wolff

    Melbourne Cuppers keep your eyes posted as they are penciling the diary dates for your series commencement.

    Gday Peter

    Would love to give em a try but not up to travelling much these days. Just wondering, is it possible for me to buy freshly roasted from you guys in Brisbane (Im in Warwick, just up the road ) or is purchasing from the generic Veneziano website the only way to do it?

    Mal.

                  Dear Peter,

                  Thanks for the private cupping session on Christmas Eve What was the one we had through the Syphon? Was it Kenyan? Estate ? ... The one with the Rhubarb sweetness. That was very nice.

                  Will you still be starting the Summer Series on Saturday the 31st of January? Im volunteering to help out at the Nationals that weekend, but if the cupping session is still on, Ill definitely come up.
